 The process of lying down or getting up generates friction and shearing forces on a patient's back. Lying down for too long also creates heat and sweat which over a period of time may result in pressure sores.
The Alloymed Comprehensive Nursing Bed 9089 is designed to alleviate such causes of pressure sores. It is specially designed to allow for sideways lying which provides back relieve to patients.
